OMEA State Competition: Arguably the best performance of the season! The judge LOVED you guys! Here are the Judge's Comments

Also, you earned the highest possible marks on your green sheet. A great way to cap off a successful and challenging season!

Tecumseh Competition: Outstanding performance! No question that this was the most solid overall performance of the season. I felt like the entire percussion ensemble stepped it up. There were no major problems...just a few minor ones that were quickly corrected. I'm really proud of how this ensemble has risen to overcome all the challenges we've had this season!

For some reason, the judges recording file is 11 minutes of silence, so there must've been a malfuction on his recorder or something - which is very unfortunate because it would have been great to hear the details of your performance again - with or without the judges comments.

You placed first overall with an 8.4.

Mr. Albright's comments are pretty much spot-on. Despite the slightly distorted quality of the recording, these are the most comprehensive and insightful comments we've received this year so far. Where was this guy at Troy?!?!

You placed first overall with an 8.8. The next closest competitors were tied for 2nd with an 8.2.

Mr. Beck's comments are a bit uncharacteristically sparse, and he was maybe a bit more complimentory than I might have been on some things, but I think you'll find the comments are certainly more relevent and insightful than last week.

Troy Competition: Superior Performance Guys!
I heard our AA competition and I can honestly tell you that you were very arguably the best all-around percussion ensemble at the show!
